RIP Willow

Today Was A Very Sad Day....

Daniella had to have her hedgehog Willow put to sleep. Willow was in severe pain and she wasn't
healing like we had hoped she would.

The vet said that it she was doing the right thing by Willow.

Prayers for Dani and Willow.

You will be missed Willow.

New Hobby

Hey there, the rain has finally stopped for a while and I was able to get out with my drone. I realize it has only been like 7 years since I last posted anything so I don't even know if this still works.

I have had lots of changes since then. Moved to Alabama, got interested in drones, getting ready for our local minor league baseball team, the Rocket City Trash Pandas, to start their 2020 season here. Gotta wait for the stadium to be built. Can't wait. Here is a link to their MiLB page.....
https://www.milb.com/rocket-city .

I have a DJI Spark drone that I use to take pictures and video with.. I'll post a video here in just a second.  https://youtu.be/9KRr0dKNQI8

Ok, Lets see if this works.
Hopefully I will be sharing more video and stuff... even if no one but me looks at it....lol

Back Again

Well, my daughter and I took our ASA 101 classes for sailing.... a year ago now. But, still haven't had the time to spend on the water.
I really want to do this and would love to be on the water but due to circumstances I just have to take it a little at a time I guess. Be a land lubber.
I've been following the sailing adventures of a family from right here in Olympia. They bought a boat and their family took off for the South Pacific. They are in New Zealand now. I have posted a link to Sara's blog on the right side of this page, Sailing Wondertime.
She has lots of good stories and photos of their stops along the way. Check it out if you get the chance

Trip to Swantown Marina

Tuesday I went down to Swantown Marina just to check it out and see what was available. It is a nice marina with about 700 slips that have all the necessities. You know, cable tv, electricity, wifi, water, showers and laundry. Very reasonable price too.
While I was there the lady at the desk and I were talking and she said she knew of a lady that had been trying to sell her boat but wasn't sure if she was still trying or not. She said I could probably get a deal on it or even make some kind of arrangements with her. So, she took my phone number and said she would call the lady and give it to her. She called her and the lady said she hasn't really thought about it in a while but would think about if she was still going to sell or not and would give me a call.
The boat is a 30 footer in good condition. The owner did remove the head for more space. Hopefully she still has it and I can reinstall it or see how much it would cost to have it done if it seems to big a job.
So, now I am just waiting to see what is going to happen with everything.
